Olympia's Tour
On Monday, May 14th 2012 the 60th edition of Olympia’s Tour starts in Zandvoort. Olympia’s Tour is the oldest Dutch cycle race with an international reputation. The tour will last six days. On May 15 the participants of the Tour will cross the municipality Wassenaar two times. The first time will be between 12:45 en 13:45 PM and the second time between 14:45 en 15:30 PM. The cycle race will take place through the streets of Valkenburgsemeer - parallel road Rijksstraatweg - Ammonslaantje - Deijlerweg - Rozenplein - Anemonenweg - Ter Weerlaan - Van Cranenburchlaan - Oostdorperweg - Kokshornlaan and Katwijkseweg in the direction of Katwijk. The traffic along and on this route will be stopped temporarily during these times and will be accompanied by the corps rural police force services and the local police force. No roads will be blocked for a longer period of time.
