Bicycle
The Hague region is a wonderful place to cycle and enjoy yourself. The landscape is varied with beaches, dunes, woods and meadows. The network of cycle paths helps you to become familiar with your surroundings and see a variety of sites worth seeing on your bike. Enjoy the greenery and the space, but also the historical sites and the bustling towns and village centres.
Regional bicycle routes
Mapping out your route is easy with the route planner. Look at the route planner before you set off to see which path you want to follow and which sites you want to see. Once on your way you can follow the signs that are posted throughout the area. Of course you can also get a map at one of the tourist offices and at various cafes and restaurants en route.
Your cycle trip will take you past many points of interest (POIs). These may be beautiful churches, country estates or visitors' centres and nature information centres, but they could be pleasant parks, historical towns or interesting museums. That gives you plenty of opportunities to take a break and enjoy all the wonderful things that the region has to offer. On a warm summer day you can sun bathe on the beach or picnic by the water's edge. There are various cafes and restaurants along the routes so that nobody needs to go hungry or thirsty. Enjoy your cycling. There is much more worth seeing than you think!
