The City of Wassenaar and the Embassy of the United States invite the Wassenaar community to a presentation on the future construction of the new Embassy of the United States in Wassenaar. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 1900 h. Town Hall “De Paauw”.

Representatives of the U.S. State Department Office ofOverseas Building Operation (OBO) will discuss architectural plans for the new Embassy building and park.

Program:

  • 19:00 h – Arrival
  • 19:30 h – start of program
  • 21:15 h – end of program

Venue: Town Hall De Paauw, raadhuislaan 22, 2242 CP Wassenaar

Mayor Jan Hoekema will moderate. Discussion will be conducted in both English and Dutch. All Wassenaar citizens are cordially invited!

STET and Munich-based BeMe Theatre proudly announce the award-winning play The Pride by Alexi Kaye Campbell. 25 – 28 January in Het Paradijs, the studio theatre in The Hague’s Koninklijke Schouwburg.

Having taken Britain, the U.S. and Germany by storm, this thought-provoking and deeply human play about two parallel homosexual love stories can now be seen in the Netherlands for the first time. The play alternates between scenes from the 1950s and scenes from 2008.
